Introduction

Financial Depth, Managerial Breadth.

Following the establishment of world-leading MBA and EMBA Programmes, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) launched a Part-time Finance MBA Programme in order to build a talent pipeline and establish Shanghai as an IFC (international financial centre) through developing high-calibre talents with global competitiveness.

The Programme provides the "rising stars" of China's financial sector with access to the latest financial and managerial theories and practices. In addition, pursuing a nationwide strategy to establish Shanghai as an IFC, CEIBS is dedicated to Shanghai Lujiazui (Group) Co., Ltd. (later renamed the CEIBS Lujiazui Institute of International Finance, CLIIF) becoming an influential think tank for the development of Shanghai as an IFC and the modernisation of China's financial system.

The CEIBS FMBA Programme, launched in November 2011, is a symbol of CEIBS' commitment to cultivating future leaders in China's financial sector. It is tailored to the needs of middle-level managers with high potential in financial institutions, or those in other industries with work involving financial management. The curriculum is designed to incorporate financial depth and managerial breadth to satisfy the demands of the financial industry.
