Join us at this special alumni mixer for an exclusive talk with Tobias Berg, Professor of Finance and Head of Finance Department at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, who will host a discussion on the use of cash, banks and bank deposits, cryptocurrencies and the digital euro, the digital dollar, and other central bank digital currency projects. From business models to future opportunities in the payment sphere, we will delve into what works, what doesn’t and what’s next for payments…

About our speaker
Tobias Berg, Professor of Finance, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
Tobias Berg is a Professor of Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He was previously Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Bonn and a visiting scholar at the Stern School of Business, New York University (NYU), as well as the European Central Bank. Prior to that he worked as Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group. Tobias Berg works in the area of financial intermediation and corporate finance and focuses on risk management, bank regulation, and the real effects of financial intermediation.
