Section 2 of the MBA 2013 cohort organized a pajama party on the 25th of July 2013. Just 1 week into the MBA program, students are craving for a casual and fun party to break the ice and get familiar with their classmates.

Dress code: Pajamas makes one feel comfortable! Since the aim of the party was for students to interact and break the ice, the dress code was the starting point. Dressed in colorful shorts, boxers, pajamas, tights and t-shirts, students had much opportunity for ‘crazy' photographs

The party started with a Cocktails & Dinner. A wide spread of food, desert and cocktails ensured that students had much to eat and enjoy. Bonding over food and wine, conversations ranged from tourist attractions in China to food habits across countries.

Being part of CEIBS MBA 2013 is reason enough for a big celebration. Combining this with the birthday celebrations of over 15 students (in the month of June, July and August), a cake cutting ceremony was held. Needless to mention the cake vanished within a few minutes!

What better way to get to know each other than play games! Students engaged in 3 innovative games that tested their co-ordination, acting, guesswork and communication skills. The acting game in particular left students laughing their guts out. And of course we discovered some great talent in our class!

It is said dance can break barriers and well, it surely did! With a great student DJ, students shook a leg to English, Chinese, Korean and Hindi music. Popular songs like “Gangnam Style” and “Nobody but You” had all the students dance in sync. What fun!

The night ended on a happy note. With each student lending a helping hand in one way or the other, the party was surely a big hit! Now that students are much more than just acquaintances we look forward to several such parties in the year ahead!
