CEIBS Global EMBA Gets Swiss Nod of Approval
June 8, 2018. Zurich – CEIBS Global EMBA has joined an elite group of programmes that have earned a seal of approval from the Swiss Agency of Accreditation and Quality Assurance (AAQ).
CEIBS GEMBA is one of only 18 programmes fully evaluated by AAQ in Switzerland. The rigorous assessment process lasted for more than a year and is a vital step towards accreditation.
The AAQ is an independent organisation, under the auspices of the Swiss Accreditation Council, which conducts accreditation and evaluation procedures. The AAQ label is perceived as a guarantee of quality, one that is recognised by all partners and interest groups, both in Switzerland and abroad; it contributes to quality development in higher education.
“Receiving the ‘AAQ evaluated’ stamp of approval is a strong signal that our GEMBA Programme is one that continuously improves upon our already strong standards of quality,” said CEIBS Dean Ding Yuan in sharing the news. The Financial Times has ranked CEIBS GEMBA within the world’s top 20 for 8 consecutive years (2010-2017), ranking it #14 in 2017. It is one of the programmes offered by CEIBS, China’s leading international business school, which is accredited by both AACSB and EQUIS.
The CEIBS Global EMBA is a part-time 20-month programme for high-potential, upper-level executives and entrepreneurs who want to take their career and personal development to the next level. With modules available in 11 cities worldwide, a diverse student body from more than 20 countries, and two integrated cohorts running between China, Europe and Africa, CEIBS Global EMBA provides in-depth China knowledge within a global context. It also provides unparalleled opportunities for participants to expand their global network, while plugging into China’s largest business school alumni network.
To provide maximum flexibility for participants, the CEIBS GEMBA has two separate but integrated tracks (Single or Double Module), whose content and faculty are identical. There are two core global modules which all participants must take together, in Barcelona and Zurich, lasting 5 days each. Both tracks will come together for all their elective modules; the only difference is the timing and structure of the core modules. The Single Module cohort takes core modules once every month for 4 days (Thursday – Sunday) at CEIBS Shanghai Campus. The Double Module track takes core modules once every two months at a range of global locations (Shanghai, Barcelona, Accra and Zurich).
The next CEIBS GEMBA class begins in November 2018 and the final round of applications is August 31, 2018. Click here for more details on how to apply.
