MBA 2021 Student Ambassadors Officially Sworn In
September 19, 2019. Shanghai – Thirty-five representatives from the CEIBS MBA Class of 2021 were today officially sworn in as student ambassadors. Although highly selective in nature, the Student Ambassador Programme remains the most popular avenue amongst current students seeking to “give back” to the school.
In addressing the new ambassadors, MBA Programme Director Juan Fernandez emphasized the vital task they have been assigned. “This group is very reflective of the diversity that the MBA cohort exhibits,” he said. “Your job as ambassadors for the school comes with great responsibility and your contribution will only take us forward.”
MBA 2020 Student Vice President Sissi Chen was also present at the event to share her insights with the new appointees and to pass on the baton to newly elected President Simon Liang (China) and Vice President Melissa Khoo (Malaysia).
Representing 21 countries and regions, the current batch of student ambassadors are expected to promote CEIBS’ brand and to help the school recruit the best talents by hosting information sessions and coffee chats, both within and outside of China. “Bridges are probably the most beautiful creation of mankind,” Simon explained. “We as ambassadors are here to reinforce some of these metaphorical bridges between CEIBS and rest of the world.”
The ambassadors’ contact information is now published on the CEIBS’ website here. Future applicants can reach out to them with any questions they have about CEIBS or our MBA programme.
